Un-death isn't an easy thing to manage in La La Land. From sunup, the mortal kine spend every waking moment trying to "make it" in the City of Angels, by clawing and scraping for any opportunity to pitch their scripts or land an audition, and then sundown rolls around and it's your turn to partake in your share of groveling and ass-kissing. Except instead of trying to land that small indie role that's going to lead to your "discovery," or befriend that assistant to the assistant junior catering director at one of the film studios, you're trying to worm your way up the Camarilla hierarchy -- trying to ingratiate yourself to the vile monsters of the night that yearn to fill their guts with stolen blood and vitality...

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...

Still, young and powerless that you may be, you're still vampires, and even you have someone below you on the totem pole of this night society: your ghouls. Human servitors bound to your service by blood (literally). Attentive, patient, hardworking, and most importantly, slavishly loyal. What would you ever do without them?

This is a one-shot story using the Vampire: the Masquerade system (mostly). Character sheets and dice will be provided -- but if you want to bring your own, you just need a handful of d10s.
